Assistant wardens required

Overview

Waterrow Touring Park are looking for that very special couple to join our team to help assist the owners throughout the season (April until end of September). The perfect candidates will need to be fit, enthusiastic team players with outstanding customer service bespoke to the caravan business and proven IT skills. They ll need a love of the outdoors and a burning desire to provide our guests with the best possible holiday experience they can.

Details

The position on offer will be from March/April until the end of September 2026. This is a part time job and weekly hours / days will differ depending on the time of year and we ask for flexibility in terms of hours and days worked. This is extremely important due to the nature of the business. A hardstanding pitch will be allocated with electric, water supply, wifi, laundry all provided for their own well-maintained caravan or motorhome at no extra cost.

Responsibilities

• Reception, taking bookings using our computerised booking system, processing payments, providing superb local knowledge, serving in the small shop, gardening, toilet and facilities cleaning and the ability to manoeuvre caravans to and from our storage facility onto pitch.
• Show initiative to ensure guest needs are met and objects are resolved without being asked.
• Show good physical fitness levels as guests are shown to their pitches by staff.

Requirements

• Fit, enthusiastic team players with outstanding customer service bespoke to the caravan business and proven IT skills.
• Love of the outdoors and a burning desire to provide guests with the best possible holiday experience.
• A 'can do' attitude with nothing being too much trouble for the guests.
• Good physical fitness levels.

Policy and Conditions

As an adult only park and member of Tranquil Parks this means that no-one under the age of 18 is permitted on the park - this includes children or grandchildren of wardens. Applicants will need to consider how this will affect their individual circumstances.

Remuneration and Employment Type

Remuneration to be agreed depending on hours worked and you will need to be self-employed.
