Assistant Treasury Accountant - Cheltenham - Hybrid

Fixed term contract (12 - 15 months)

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting with journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting daily cashbook processes and financial transactions
• Preparing cash flow forecasts and treasury-related reports
• Assisting with invoice raising and finance administration
• Producing reports and analysis using Excel and Power BI
• Supporting financial reporting and statutory accounting activities
• Helping document financial processes and controls
• Working closely with experienced finance professionals to support business reporting requirements

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with the right attitude, drive and willingness to learn. Treasury experience isn't essential, but you'll need to be someone who can pick up new processes quickly and work independently once trained.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• A proactive and self-motivated approach
• The ability to manage repetitive, process-driven tasks effectively
• A genuine interest in developing a career within finance and accounting
