Job Title: Tax Accountant/Assistant Tax Manager
Location: London (Hybrid)
Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract Type: Contract (initial 6 months term, with potential for extension or permanent opportunity)

Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a Tax Accountant/Assistant Tax Manager on behalf of a global professional services organisation. This hybrid role is based in London and sits within a collaborative UK tax team. It offers a great opportunity to work in a well-established, supportive environment with scope for future development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare UK corporate tax returns, tax provisions, reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Support US tax reporting and associated year-end obligations
• Conduct risk reviews and assist in tax planning and process improvements
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders including auditors and tax advisors
• Assist in enhancing tax compliance controls, governance, and reporting

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified (ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, HMRC equivalent or by experience)
• Strong technical knowledge in UK Corporation Tax and experience with US tax reporting
• Confident in using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and tax software (eg, OneSource or AlphaTax)
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organised
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team

Working Arrangement:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
• Hybrid working model, with occasional travel to sites across London
• May involve working one weekend annually to support year-end US tax reporting
