Job Description
Assistant Store Manager - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Are you looking for an opportunity to progress in store management? We're looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our fashion store team in Fakenham.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate must be fully flexible to work five days per week out of seven, including weekends and bank holidays, and must have retail experience.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Store Manager you support the Store Manager with the day to day running of the store and take full responsibility in their absence.

  • Ensure the highest standard of customer service.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising.
  • Maximise sales through physical and digital channels.
  • Recruit and develop volunteers.
  • Meet campaign activity expectations.
  • Collaborate with the manager to generate stock.

Our stores are fast paced and trade seven days a week, so flexibility must be maintained. The role can be physically demanding due to the volume of collections, deliveries and donations.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in a customer facing role.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Commercially driven, encouraging new ideas.
