ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER
- Rendall & Rittner • Competitive • Hybrid - Bournemouth
ROLE OVERVIEW
You will play a pivotal role in supporting two Senior Property Managers, with the day-to-day administration of their portfolios, which include sites in and around Southampton and The Hamptons in Worcester Park. Working primarily from home with the flexibility to visit our offices or site offices when needed, you will keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes-owning inboxes, maintaining records, and coordinating tasks with care and precision.
This is a brilliant opportunity to build a career in residential property management while learning from experienced managers. You will use Outlook and our internal property management systems daily, and you may also have the chance to accompany managers on site visits to broaden your exposure to the operational side of the role. We're ideally looking for someone based along the south coast between Portsmouth, Southampton and Bournemouth.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will be the organisational heartbeat for two Senior Property Managers, managing inboxes, updating systems, preparing documents and ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date and easy to find. Most days will involve structured admin, responding to queries, scheduling and tracking actions so nothing is missed, with occasional site visit opportunities to see how your work supports our residents and clients.

- You anticipate needs, flag risks early and proactively remove admin bottlenecks for the Senior Property Managers.
- You handle competing priorities calmly, meeting agreed SLAs and turning around requests quickly.
- You contribute positively to team culture, reliable, responsive and always focused on great service.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME
- Managing Outlook inboxes, diaries and task lists for two Senior Property Managers.
- Updating internal property management systems, logs and document repositories.
- Drafting letters, reports and resident communications, and issuing contractor instructions.
- Coordinating repairs, quotes, purchase orders and follow-ups to completion.
- Preparing packs for meetings and tracking actions afterwards.
- Supporting occasional site visits with scheduling, paperwork and note-taking.
WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR
- You're a highly organised administrator who enjoys creating order and keeping details tight.
- You're confident with Outlook and quick to learn new systems and processes.
- You communicate clearly, professionally and empathetically with a people-first mindset.
- You're proactive, dependable and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
- You value hybrid working and can travel across the south coast when needed.
