At M Group Energy, we're enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Overhead Lines team team. Our teams construct and maintain Transmission Lines at voltages up to and including 400kV ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.

What will you be doing?
Are you a graduate or have some relevant industry experience and looking for the next step in your career? As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll support Overhead Lines projects on our SSEN contract in the Aberdeenshire / Inverness area.
You'll work with the Project Manager in the planning, execution and supervision of their allocated project(s) to ensure it meets the strategic objectives of the business, delivered both on time and within the prescribed budget.
You'll assist with the management of all aspects of delivery projects; including but not limited to third party interfaces, sub-contract arrangements, resource requirements, DCO compliance / discharge and equipment requirements.
You'll always ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with any relevant internal or external policy or procedure and remain fully compliant with legislation.

What you'll bring
Degree / Higher Education qualified or relevant experience in UK electrical transmission and distribution infrastructure
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, with the aptitude to distil complex messages for presentation to senior managers
Ability to demonstrate effective prioritisation, time-management and workload planning skills
Reasoned decision making - ability to assess and draw logical actions without procrastination
Full UK driving license - willingness to travel to and work from all sites throughout the UK
