PESS hosts three established research centres: Physical Activity for Health (PAfH), Physical Education, Physical Activity and Youth Sport (PEPAYS), and the Sport and Human Performance Research Centre (SHPRC). It delivers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to over 1,000 students, including the BSc in Physical Education, Sport and Exercise Sciences, and Exercise Health Fitness & Management, alongside the Professional Master of Education (Physical Education), MSc programmes in Sport Performance, Applied Sports Coaching, Sport Psychology, and the Professional Doctorate and Structured PhD programmes.
