New Road Academy is seeking an excellent classroom practitioner and credible leader of teaching and learning to help secure consistently high standards across the academy.

An exciting opportunity to lead instructional coaching, professional development and evidence-informed classroom practice

We are seeking an ambitious and inspirational leader to join our senior leadership team as Assistant Principal: Teaching & Learning. This is a highly visible role focused on driving excellence in teaching and learning across the academy, leading instructional coaching, professional development, literacy initiatives and evidence-informed practice. Working closely with teachers, middle leaders, ECTs and trainee teachers, you will support the continual improvement of classroom practice and staff expertise, ensuring the highest quality of education for all pupils. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, a positive role model and a passionate advocate for professional growth, inclusion and student success.
