Position located in Hanley, Staffordshire. Permanent full time role working 43 hours a week, usually across 5 days including at least one weekend shift. The pay range for this contract is £31,449.60 - £32,648.16 per annum.

- Work closely with the shop manager to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to customers.
- Develop the retail assistant team through coaching, mentoring and feedback.
- Act as shop manager in absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries processed quickly and shop routines maintained to keep a safe, clean and tidy shop.
- Motivate and guide team to control operational costs (shrinkage, waste, payroll).
- Support recruitment and induction of new team members.
- A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
- Good interpersonal skills - able to build strong working relationships.
- Trustworthy and reliable, dependable within a small team.
- Some experience as a manager, team leader or supervisor.
- Completion of a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) required.
