Job Description
Assistant Manager - Full Time 
We are looking to recruit a new Assistant Manager for our shop in Aylestone, Leicester. This position is permanent full time with a variety of shifts over 5 days each week, normally including at least one weekend shift.
Full time employees are expected to be available to work across the week, including weekends.
Pay & Benefits- Salary: £31,449 - £32,648 per annum (43 hour contract)

- Work closely with the shop manager to run an efficient shop and provide great customer service.
- Develop the team of retail assistants through coaching, mentoring and feedback.
- Act as shop manager in their absence, ensuring customers are looked after and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, tidy shop.
- Motivate and guide the team to control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
- Support the shop manager with recruitment and induction of new team members.
- A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
- A relatable "people person" who builds strong working relationships.
- Trustworthy and reliable - an essential part of a small team that customers and colleagues depend on.
- Some experience as a manager, team leader or supervisor.
- Will complete an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check if successful.
