Assistant Management Accountant - 6 months - Shoreditch

A dynamic and growing facilities management company based in the heart of Shoreditch, are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to support their finance team during a busy period. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the smooth running of our financial operations.
Your new role

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Support accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist with VAT returns and other statutory reporting
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
What you'll need to succeed
  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or relevant accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
