The Department of Health and Sport Sciences within the Faculty of Health Sciences has 30 academic staff across various disciplines and circa 450 students. It offers undergraduate degrees in Sport and Exercise Science, Strength and Conditioning, Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Therapy and a Cert in Human Physiology and Health Science. It offers a taught MSc postgraduate programme in Strength and Conditioning and it is also engaged in the research activity leading to postgraduate awards with circa 20 PhD students currently enrolled.
Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for this Assistant Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science temporary part time position, with relevant expertise particularly in sport science, strength and conditioning and exercise programming to lecture on taught programmes, and contribute to the development of the Department as a whole.
