Description and requirements

We are looking for an Assistant Environmental Sustainability Manager - LTC , to join our Infrastructure team in Kent.

What you'll do:

  • Providing environmental training to staff.
  • Recording and communicate the progress of the environmental works.
  • Assisting in the review of method statements.
  • Monitoring and updating the environmental manager on the progress of pre-construction surveys.
  • Assessing and checking survey results and updating information systems and management plans with new information and communicating change to relevant disciplines.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Degree level in appropriate Environmental or relevant discipline or equivalent (e.g. NVQ).
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to identify environmental risks and mitigation measures.
  • Excellent communication skills with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience of the Development Consent Order process.
  • IT literacy, able to adapt quickly to new software and systems.
