HarbourVest is an equal opportunity employer. This position will be a hybrid work arrangement with 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.
Responsibilities- Support oversight of assigned funds throughout the quarterly reporting lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in compliance with governing documents.
- Review and/or prepare quarterly NAV calculations, all supporting accounting documentation and reconciliations, investment valuations, quarterly and annual reporting, including capital account statements and audited financial statements under US GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and client information requests.
- Find opportunities to enhance efficiency, controls, scalability, and data quality.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed.

- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Preferred: BS/BA (or European equivalent) - Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
- Experience: 7 10 years relevant experience.
- Education: BS/BA (or European equivalent); 7 10 Years relevant experience.
