Key Responsibilities
Spearhead the development, strategy, and implementation of an ambitious Digital Transformation Programme.
Lead the corporate IT strategy, ensuring it supports wider transformation goals.
Advise senior leadership and decision-makers on strategic digital opportunities and priorities.
Champion the development of the organisation's website to enhance user experience and accessibility.
Foster a culture of innovation by exploring and adopting new technologies and digital approaches.
Ensure the benefits of digital transformation are effectively communicated to employees, stakeholders, and service users.
Embed robust frameworks such as ITIL and TOGAF to ensure service excellence.
Essential Experience:
Significant experience in developing and implementing successful digital transformation and IT strategies and programmes.
A demonstrable history of managing complex programmes and projects that have led to clear improvements.
Proven experience in driving and communicating transformational change.
Extensive experience with programme and project management tools.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
A thorough understanding of digital transformational change, IT operations, and performance management.
A comprehensive grasp of strategic digital models, including cloud-based solutions and "digital by default" principles.
The ability to horizon scan and identify key opportunities and drivers for the organisation.
Strong analytical skills to critically evaluate programmes and develop innovative and practical solutions.
Qualifications
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
A relevant professional or post-graduate qualification or equivalent experience.
ITIL certification is desirable.
