Overview

Assistant Apparel Designer

Key Responsibilities
  • Support senior designers in developing seasonal design concepts, CADs, and presentations.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of tech packs, including specifications, measurements, trims, construction details and colour CADS.
  • Attend fittings and take notes to support design revisions.
  • Conduct market and trend research across cycling, performance sportswear, fabrics, and sustainability.
  • Organize design files, samples, and reference materials; help prepare materials for design reviews and meetings.
  • Maintain and organise design working spaces.
  • Maintain the Design archive.
  • Participate in design team discussions and contribute ideas, insights, and research findings.
About You
  • An excellent opportunity for emerging designers or recent graduates looking to begin their career in performance apparel.
  • Applicants should be studying or have recently completed a degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, Technical Apparel, or a related field.
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; knowledge of CLO 3D is a plus.
  • Strong interest in performance apparel and technical garment construction.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced design environment.
  • A passion for cycling, sportswear, or innovation in apparel is highly desirable.
