Asset Engineer (Drainage)
Contract: 6 months
Location: Kent & Sussex
£446 per day
We're seeking an experienced Asset Engineer (Drainage) to support drainage asset management and maintenance activities across the Southern Region.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring drainage assets are effectively examined, evaluated, and maintained to meet safety and operational standards.
Working Pattern: Minimum 2 days per week in London office or equivalent site visits
Essential Skills & Experience- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Proven experience in drainage or hydrology, ideally within infrastructure or rail environments.
- Strong knowledge of drainage policies, standards, and maintenance practices.
- Understanding of safety management systems and risk assessment techniques.
- Awareness of Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations.
- Working towards professional membership with a relevant institution.
- PTS and Health & Safety Sentinel competencies required.
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE, CIWEM).
