Role: Asset Data & Compliance System Officer
Location: Flexible, multi site role; may be based at any regional office (Luton, Birmingham, London, Exeter or New Milton).
Salary: From £25,000 per annum plus benefits
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week)
Your role and impactAs a Resolutions Specialist you will support the H&S System and Asset Compliance Manager and the wider Asset Compliance System team to ensure the integrity, accuracy and governance of asset data across the business.
The role works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance compliance system performance, maintain legislative alignment and promote high standards of data quality and assurance.
Key Responsibilities- Take responsibility for a defined set of asset types, becoming the subject matter expert for those categories.
- Develop a deep understanding of operational requirements, risks, compliance obligations and data standards for the allocated asset types.
- Provide guidance, assurance and support to stakeholders regarding your asset categories, ensuring consistent and accurate asset management practices.
- Maintain and support the compliance system to ensure adherence to relevant acts, regulations and industry standards.
- Assist in scheduled system reviews, identifying risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct or support compliance audits, ensuring effective document control and accurate reporting.
- Support the creation, implementation and governance of processes that define stakeholder responsibilities for asset data management.
- Work with internal teams to ensure asset data is accurate, complete and aligned to physical assets present on developments.
- Provide support for data uploads across operations, mobilisation and M&A activities.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training resources to increase user capability and improve system engagement.
- Provide timely support to system users, helping resolve data issues and promoting consistent use of compliance processes.
- Monitor and report on system performance, compliance activity and data accuracy.
- Identify improvement opportunities based on audit outcomes, user feedback or system trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Engage with contractors where required to address data or documentation accuracy issues.
- Health & Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) or willingness to undertake training.
- Experience in a compliance role within property management (desirable). Awareness of H&S legislation and regulations, or willingness to upskill.
- Understanding of asset types and building systems.
- Experience using compliance or asset management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical actions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Confidence in exercising judgement and providing reliable advice.
