6 Month Contract
Rate: £200 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Kidlington (Office Based)

We are looking to recruit an Asset Analyst on an initial 6 month contract for a leading public sector organisation. This is an office based role in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and report on ICT assets (hardware and software) in line with ITILv3 Asset Management processes, ensuring the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is accurate and up to date.
• Support the onboarding and changes of new ICT assets and ensure their integration into the CMDB via the Change Management process.
• Conduct periodic audits of ICT assets, visiting locations as required, to ensure accurate recording and take corrective action where necessary.
• Provide guidance and support on ICT Asset Management processes across the organisation.
• Produce accurate reports for senior management to support key business decisions.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Excel, Visio, and data analysis.
• Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel to multiple locations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, including external vendors.
• Knowledge of software license procurement and renewal processes.
• Ability to work flexibly, including unsocial hours if required.

Desirable:

• Experience in ITIL Asset Management or a professional qualification in the field.
• Understanding of hardware life cycle and disposal processes.
