Assembly Technician

An amazing and unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a mechanical background looking for the chance to join a pioneering company who can offer extensive training.

This company specialises in the design and manufacture of state of the art robotic products. They have received significant investment over the last few years and are now in the manufacturing stage of their first product. As they look to expand their manufacturing department, they are now looking for Assembly Technicians to join their expert team.

The role will involve carrying out complex mechanical assemblies made of plastics, metals, gears and bearings. You will use a range of manufacturing methods including casting, machining and 3D printing, all of which you will receive training on.

As this is a fast moving start up, we are looking for someone who thrives on autonomy, can hit the ground running, and doesn't require much guidance. This is an excellent opportunity for a self starter who wants to play a key role in shaping the future of robotics manufacturing.

• Mechanical assembly of advanced robotic products
• Machining, casting & 3D printing
• Working independently and as part of a team
• Extensive training provided
• £20.00 - £25.00/hr + training + benefits

• Mechanical background - ideally some assembly experience
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Highly motivated and eager to learn
• Commutable to East London/Hackney area
