Location: Primary Schools across South Tyneside
Pay: £500 - £550 per week
Hours: Monday - Friday Full-time / Part-time

Milk Education is recruiting ambitious and enthusiastic Trainee Teachers to work across a network of supportive and inclusive primary schools in South Tyneside.

You'll gain invaluable school based experience while developing the skills and confidence needed to progress into a teacher training programme.

Your Role as a Trainee Teacher

Working closely with experienced teachers and staff, you will:

• Support the delivery of engaging and creative lessons across the curriculum
• Work with pupils 1:1 and in small groups to reinforce learning
• Assist in planning and preparing classroom activities and resources
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
• Support pupils with additional needs (SEND) to ensure full inclusion
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Gradually take on more responsibility as your confidence grows

What We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who are eager to learn and develop into outstanding educators:

• A degree (or working towards one) - preferred
• Experience working with children (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work, care, etc.)
• A genuine passion for education and child development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, resilient, and positive attitude
• A desire to progress into teacher training or education careers
