Are you an Aspiring Psychologist looking to gain credible school-based experience before progressing towards a career in Educational, Clinical or Child Psychology? This Aspiring Psychologist opportunity will allow you to work closely with pupils with SEN and SEND, supporting their academic progress, emotional development and overall wellbeing. With excellent training and development opportunities, this Aspiring Psychologist role is ideal for a Psychology graduate looking to strengthen your experience before undertaking further study or professional training.
Aspiring Psychologist Benefits:- Work as a SEN Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
- Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group interventions
- Help pupils develop their confidence, communication and emotional regulation
- Work closely with an experienced SENCO and wider inclusion team
- Gain valuable experience relevant to future Psychology training
- Full-time position starting in September 2026
- Contract running until July 2027, with potential opportunities to continue
- £500+ per week, paid weekly on a PAYE basis
- Minimum 2:1 Psychology degree, or predicted 2:1, ideally from a top UK university
- Strong interest in SEN, child development and mental health
- Confident supporting children and young people with additional needs
- Patient, resilient and able to build positive relationships
- Previous experience working with children is desirable
