Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established environmental consultancy who offer specialist asbestos services across commercial, residential, and public sector environments. They are looking for a motivated Asbestos Surveyor to join their expanding team based in the Maidstone area.

Duties

• Conduct Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition asbestos surveys in line with HSG264 guidelines
• Collect bulk samples and ensure accurate site documentation
• Produce clear and detailed asbestos survey reports
• Carry out site inspections across a range of commercial, industrial, and domestic properties
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure work is delivered safely and efficiently

Skills and experience

• BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited consultancy
• Strong working knowledge of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
• Excellent written reporting skills and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and organisational skills
