Asbestos Operations Manager - Guildford

Company Overview

Our client, part of a large multi-disciplinary organisation providing a broad range of consultancy services including asbestos, environmental, water hygiene, occupational hygiene and other services to clients nationwide, is now seeking to expand their business and are recruiting for a self-driven Asbestos Operations Manager to join them in the South Central area and would include applicants from Guildford, Reading and surrounding areas.

Qualifications and Experience

• P402, P405, or S301 qualifications or equivalent.
• Proven track record in role with significant experience within UKAS accredited company and asbestos industry.
• Familiarity with p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or s301 CCP also welcomed.

The Role

• Promote company's business and manage accounts.
• Participate in technical reviews and maintain proposals and reports.
• Mentor and train asbestos surveyors.
• Assist with tenders and quotations.
• Resolve problems and handle various issues.
• Approve asbestos reports as required.
• Liaise with company's large portfolio of clients.
• Commercially focused, versatile and manage the business effectively.
• Strong communication, organisational, people management and client facing skills; able to work under pressure.
