Job Description
Overview 
Our established client is an asbestos company with a national presence. They are recruiting an experienced and commercially minded Asbestos Contracts Manager based in and around the London area. The ideal applicant will have experience in overseeing a range of asbestos contracts, maintaining existing client contracts, developing new contract leads, and managing site staff. Applications from Darford, Basildon, Watford, Slough and surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience- Background in educational, technical, removal, supervisory, contracts and management.
- Previous experience in this role within the asbestos industry.
- Good working knowledge of asbestos Health and Safety legislations/procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
- Oversee work carried out by contractors to ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Complete risk assessments, method statements, tenders, PPQs, specifications, appraisals and ASB5 notifications.
- Achieve KPI's.
- Assess potential contracts.
- Organise staff to achieve completion of contracts effectively.
- Make recommendations for improving client service and delivery.
- Collate and produce management reports in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
- Get involved with Health & Safety training/issues.
- Deal with incoming sales enquiries.
- Liaise with the company's new and existing clients in a professional manner.
- Generate new business leads.
