They are looking for a business mindful and hard working Asbestos Bid Manager. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a bid manager, consistently winning bids and managing the bid process from start to finish. You will oversee the company's successful bid team, offering advice, support and training to maintain continued success. Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven track record in bid management within the asbestos, construction, compliance or legionella industry
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
  • Industry relevant qualification is a benefit
  • Hands on experience within the asbestos industry is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage people efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Capacity to manage workload in line with company and client needs
The Role
  • Oversee and ensure the smooth running of the entire bid process from planning to submission
  • Coordinate and prepare high quality bids that are competitive and compliant with client requirements
  • Analyse tender documents and identify clients' key requirements
  • Continuously develop and maintain comprehensive bid templates
  • Conduct extensive research to support bid strategies
  • Review and edit bid documents to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Submit bids in a timely manner
  • Track and report on bid outcomes, integrating feedback for future bids
  • Stay up to date with industry changes, including marker conditions and competitor activity
  • Maintain excellent working knowledge of relevant health and safety guidelines
  • Work closely with clients, providing support and advice
