Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join a well-established company in the FMCG machinery industry as an Area Sales Manager. This company is renowned for its expertise in the industry, and is seeking a motivated individual to drive sales across Europe and other territories. The Area Sales Manager will play a crucial role in achieving the company's sales targets and profit margins.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow sales across an assigned territory while identifying new business opportunities and developing existing accounts.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, and maintain close communication with customers throughout the contract execution.
  • Conduct extensive travel to clients throughout SEU regions, with occasional worldwide travel.
  • Prepare and execute a regular sales visit plan, and represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and conventions.
  • Provide sales training and support to staff, agents, and distributors, while maintaining an ongoing dialogue with clients for technical and commercial follow-up.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar sales role, with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel for 1-2 weeks monthly within the UK and to the EU.
  • Results-driven with strong organizational skills and the ability to work from home with reliable communication means.
Compensation and Benefits

In return you'll receive a competitive salary up to £40k, a Profit Share scheme following successful probation, 25 days holiday plus an extra day for your birthday, and full in-house training across the bespoke machinery the company designs and manufactures.
