Key Job Responsibilities / Activities- Generation of sales for Socomec Critical power products within the South - West area.
- Implement and support channel distribution targeting existing power specialists in the region to act as partners supporting the Socomec sales strategy.
- Production of quotations for major critical power projects.
- Act as the specialist, with the support from the Socomec technical pre sales support teams, working day to day with large end users, design and build contractors and specifiers (consultants and regulatory organisations) within the UK to promote Socomec critical power offer.
- Ensure that Socomec's critical power products are specified in RFQ documents for all appropriate major UK projects.
- Present new Socomec Critical Power technology to large end users, design and build contractors and specifiers highlighting benefits of using Socomec products.
- Carry out a regular program of CPDs and other technical seminars with national consultancy groups.
- With support from the Business Application and Marcoms team organise industry specific events in the area to promote Socomec products.
- Work with the Business Application and Marcoms team to customise sales and technical information for the UK market as well as gather, consolidate, analyse and feed back market intelligence to.
- Support development of Business Application strategy and offer creation.
- Support other colleagues working in Critical Power, Energy Efficiency, Power Control and Safety, Energy Storage to ensure that Socomec maximises the potential of any new opportunity within the South - West area and beyond.
- Delivery CPD's to M&E Consultants.

Technical and managerial skills that are essential for successful job performance.
TechnicalThe ideal candidate will have strong experience selling Critical Power UPS and STS products. Experience selling into the IT Channel or to Specialist Power VARs (Value Added Reseller) would be beneficial.
