The Area Sales Manager will identify new business opportunities for our Eternit product line, growing sales within your region by working with existing distributors and installers, and developing new relationships.
What you'll do:
- Build strong relationships with installers to nurture and grow the Eternit business with these stakeholders.
- Manage the distributor network in your area, ensuring they have the knowledge, product stock, and information to serve smaller installers and farmers effectively.
- Develop relationships with farming groups and promote Eternit as the expert in agricultural building solutions.
- Work directly with farmers on their projects, providing advice and ensuring the best building solutions for their needs.
- Enhance your knowledge of UK farming and anticipate future industry trends.
- Persuade specifiers to promote the Eternit range of products and solutions on projects.
- Manage your sales area to meet revenue targets.
- Plan your journeys and customer calls efficiently.
- Stay updated on product, system, regulation, and industry knowledge to stay ahead of competitors and maximize sales opportunities.
- Conduct regular reviews with installers and distributors to manage activity plans effectively.
What you'll bring:
- Experience in the construction industry in a field-based role.
- A proven track record of growing personal sales accounts and contributing to team success.
- Experience in efficient and profitable account management.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
