Job Description
Area Sales Manager - Galway & Mayo

This Area Sales Manager will develop and lead a team to deliver defined contractual and financial targets across the designated area while ensuring the highest standards of service to our client and local employers.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve Area budget performance and financial targets.
  • Plan, allocate and review team resources ensuring effective caseload allocation and management.
  • Maintain quality service through standards, compliance checks, issue resolution and process improvements
  • Review management information to identify trends and address contract risks in performance, compliance, quality and people.
  • Support a workplace culture aligned with SESI's Great Place to Work status, and the mission, vision and values. Maintain clear, transparent communication with the team.
  • Lead colleagues through regular 12 1s, feedback, recognition, development and, where needed, HR supported performance processes.
  • Report to the Operations Director, keeping them informed of key issues including performance, discipline, data breaches and complaints.
  • Work with Seetec Ireland support teams to align and deliver services efficiently.
  • Liaise with Group support functions, including Facilities, H&S and IT, escalating issues to the OD as needed.
  • Work with HR to attract, onboard and retain talent, building a motivated team focused on targets and quality service.
  • Embed a customer service ethos in daily team operations.
  • Build collaborative relationships with employers, providers, DSP representatives and stakeholders to improve client outcomes.
  • Prepare monthly highlight reports using qualitative and quantitative data, presenting monthly performance updates at Area Manager meetings.
  • Manage professional development and complete training agreed with the Operations Director.
  • Always follow company policies and procedures, including Safeguarding, Equal Opportunities, Quality, Health and Safety and IT.
  • Undertake other duties as required.
  • Act as an employee owner, considering the interests of the company, shareholders and colleagues.
  • Work flexibly to meet business needs, including travel and overnight stays where required.
  • Handle personal data in line with the organisation's data protection policy.
  • Take responsibility for team health, safety and welfare, working proactively with Health & Safety and Estates & Facilities teams.
Requirements
  • 3 5 years' management experience in a customer facing environment.
  • Track record of operational success, achieving targets in a fast paced, operational environment.
  • Track record of leading and motivating a team, managing performance and staff development.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets to optimise outcomes and meet financial targets.
  • Track record of managing change and implementing new initiatives whilst maintaining performance and quality standards.
  • Previous experience of engaging with external stakeholders and building mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office apps with an aptitude for using CMS systems
Desirable
  • Knowledge of the contracted services, employment support, training or recruitment industries.
  • Knowledge of local and national labour market issues and the impact on employment opportunities.
