Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as an Area Funeral & Memorial Consultant. You'll deliver the best end of life care, support and client experience through the arrangement and delivery of funerals, memorialisation, and aftercare services.

You'll need a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle as this role requires travel to our branches in

  • Bognor
  • Brighton
  • Chichester
  • Felpham
  • Findon
  • Goring
  • Hove
  • Peacehaven
  • Rose Green
  • Shoreham
  • Uckfield

Flexibility to support other branches may be required.

What to expect

  • Make sure funeral arrangements, memorialisation orders and aftercare services are perfect
  • Ensure compliance, accuracy and high attention to detail throughout
  • Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers
  • Ensure correct care of the deceased, for example, conducting daily checks and facilitating Reflection Room visits for families
  • Be proactive in community engagement initiatives

What we're looking for

  • IT literate and a competent user of MS Office
  • Excellent communicator with strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Can display resilience and be comfortable working alone in branch
  • High level of understanding, empathy, and compassion

Training

  • Previous experience within the funeral industry is not required as we'll provide full training
  • Travel to other sites will be required
