Area Engineer

Area Engineer / Assessor - Plymouth & South West

Noble Recruiting are working with a leading organisation in the Electrical and Renewable Engineering accreditation sector, seeking an experienced Area Engineer / Assessor on a sub contract basis.

Covering Plymouth and the wider South West, including Exeter, Cornwall, Devon, and Penzance / Land's End.

Day Rate: £300 - £330 per day. Contract: Sub-contract Full-time or part-time available

The Role

You will assess, service, and install renewable energy systems, ensuring compliance with current regulations, industry standards, and scheme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessing and installing Heat Pumps, Solar Thermal, Solar PV, and Battery Storage systems
• Ensuring correct design, installation, commissioning, and handover of microgeneration systems
• Completing on-site assessments (own iPad required)

Requirements

• Level 3 qualified in renewable or electrical installations
• Strong technical knowledge of renewable technologies
• Previous experience as an Engineer / Assessor
