Area Business Manager - Dublin. Responsible for identifying and executing revenue opportunities in assigned territories, managing client relationships, and driving product growth for Global Payments.
Responsibilities- Identify revenue opportunities and prospective clients within assigned territories through face to face meetings, telephone communications, marketing programs, and other activities as needed.
- Conduct face to face meetings with prospects to qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
- Perform suspect identification, account qualification, and needs analysis at all prospect levels.
- Respond to customer requests for information and deliver online presentations.
- Identify and close additional product and/or service sales with existing clients to further develop the client relationship.
- Manage client relationships and expectations throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain client records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (currently ), including call notes, scheduled interactions, contact information, and other relevant data.
- Keep management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
- Develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio and industry changes within the payments sector.
- Professional expertise and application of company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
- Ability to work on problems of moderate scope, reviewing a variety of factors and exercising judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action.
- Build productive internal and external working relationships.
- Expert knowledge of the merchant payment industry.
- Advanced problem solving skills and ability to act quickly to resolve issues.
- Effective listening and communication skills with the ability to establish long lasting customer relationships.
- Experience working within a fast paced sales environment.
- Experience in payments (desired but not essential).
