Area Building Control Surveyor

Area Building Control Surveyor needed in Bromley, £280 per day PAYE - Reference: RQ

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical expertise and control in the administration and enforcement of the Building Act, Building Regulations, London Building Acts, and allied legislation to ensure an adequate standard of construction, with regard to public health and safety, within the Borough.
2. Manage the full scope of developments within the Borough, including plan checking, site inspections, and enforcement of the Building Regulations.
3. Handle dangerous structures and demolitions, and initiate emergency actions to secure public safety.
4. Advise the public, members, and other officers on matters related to the functions, policies, and services of the Building Control Service.
5. Collaborate with other services to meet division aims and targets.
6. Perform all responsibilities with a focus on Customer Service and Performance Improvement.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
