About the company:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Architect or Senior Architect to join a dynamic and forward-thinking planning and design practice on a temporary basis, with the potential to move into a permanent position. The successful candidate will bring over several years' post-Part 3 experience, a strong technical background, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality design work across a range of residential and master planning projects.

This role offers the chance to be part of a collaborative team, contributing to both small and large-scale developments, from individual housing schemes to complex urban extensions.

Daily duties
  • Producing detailed architectural drawings and design packages using Vectorworks and Revit to a proficient standard
  • Contributing to the design and development of residential and master planning projects
  • Preparing planning and technical design documentation
  • Coordinating with consultants, planners, and other project stakeholders
  • Ensuring designs comply with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards
  • Supporting senior team members and providing input at various project stages
  • (Desirable) Producing visualisations using Twinmotion and Photoshop
  • (Desirable) Contributing to project management and technical detailing
The ideal candidate
  • Fully qualified Architect with more than several years post-Part 3 experience
  • Proficient in Vectorworks and Revit
  • Working knowledge of Twinmotion and Photoshop (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong understanding of Building Regulations and technical construction processes
  • Experience in master planning and residential house design
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and collaboratively
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with enthusiasm for high-quality design
