Arborist

Location: Field based across Drogheda and Cavan

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Ground Control is expanding in Ireland and we're looking for a skilled Arborist to join our Arb Utility division.

What you'll do

As an Arborist in our Utilities division, you'll be responsible for the safe removal and clearance of vegetation and trees around power lines. Experience in Utility Arboriculture is ideal but not essential - however, you must be a qualified Arborist as a minimum.

What you'll get

You'll be part of a professional, safety focused team that has recently secured new work in this area. We will invest in your training to obtain your UA tickets as part of the role.

What We're Looking For

You must be a qualified Arborist with relevant certifications including a climbing ticket.

  • Experience in Utility Arboriculture (preferred but not essential)
  • A strong commitment to Health & Safety procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently to deadlines
  • Flexibility for occasional overnight stays, depending on workload and locations
  • Ideally, you will have a full driving licence so that you can drive a work van
