Job Title: Permanent, full time Arborist - Climbers

Salary: £15.14 to £18.38 per hour (DOE) plus enhanced overtime and call out rates; base salary equivalent £31,500 £38,220.

Overview

This role works with an Arboricultural Association Approved contractor and involves tree removals, crown thinning, reductions, lifting, dead wooding and planting. The position is part of a dynamic, forward thinking team that prioritises safety, quality and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree removals, crown thinning, reductions, lifting and dead wooding.
• Execute tree planting and ongoing maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to safe working practices and maintain plant, vehicles and equipment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high quality tree care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an arborist or climber.
• Strong climbing skills and commitment to safe practices.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Level3 Maintenance, Level3 Climb Trees & Perform Aerial Rescue, Level2 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness, Level3 Aerial Tree Rigging or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence.
• First Aid certificate.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
