With a growing pipeline of new projects and clients, we are now looking to expand our team by recruiting an apprentice to support on the delivery of multiple projects.As a company in the early stages of our development and growth, there has never been a better time for someone driven and motivated to come in and support the delivery of our ambitious growth agenda.The successful candidate will be working closely with, and reporting to, a Citisense consultant who will support them with their work and professional development. You will work alongside the wider Sustainable Transport Team to help develop and draft strategies, plan and deliver transport and regeneration projects, analyse data, write reports, and liaise with our clients, stakeholders, and communities to create environmentally responsible and efficient transportation solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep commitment to sustainability.Job SpecificationThe ideal candidate will:
  • Collaborate with fellow colleagues on projects and policies, expanding your skill set while making a lasting impact on urban development.
  • Create impactful consultation reports, policy documents, and technical presentations.
  • Provision of transport assessments and statements.
  • Monitor active travel and traffic projects.
  • Prepare and coordinate travel planning schemes.
  • Support planning and delivery of urban regeneration projects.
  • Junction analysis and network assessments.
  • Preliminary highway designs.
  • Traffic and parking scheme designs.
  • Liaise with clients and attend meetings.

  • Degree level education (or working towards) in a relevant subject
  • Strong report writing ability.
  • Highly numerate and an analytical mindset.
  • Prior experience in transport planning or monitoring would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Excel and/or GIS, would be beneficial.
