You will report directly to the Sales Administrator supporting in all elements of the sales delivery process.- Telephone and email communication with customers and suppliers, with occasional face to face contact- Processing sales orders for customers- Ordering from suppliers- Building relationships with customers and suppliers- Sales support tasks such as administration, scanning, photocopying and filing- Stock taking- The successful candidate will undertake Sales Executive Level 3 Apprenticeship standard- This is a work-based apprenticeship and you will have an allocated Professional Coach that will visit regularly and support in the workplace- Possibility of a permanent role upon completion of apprenticeship for the right personThe successful candidate will have the following skills and personal qualities:- Communication skills- IT skills- Attention to detail- Organisation skills- Customer care skills- Problem solving skills- Administrative skills- Team working- Initiative- Non judgementalThey will also have GCSE or equivalent Maths and English at grade 4-9. It would be beneficial to have excellent IT skills.The apprenticeship is expected to last 18 months. The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm with an unpaid 1 hour lunch break each day.Applicants must be aged over 18 to meet health and safety requirements on site. Though the role is mainly office based it may involve some time in the on-site Warehouse (to check stock etc.).
