Job Description
Role Purpose

The Learning Technology Support role provides practical, day to day support for the digital learning environment and academy. Reporting to the Head of Organisation & People, the role supports the Learning & Technology Specialist in delivering, maintaining, and improving learning platforms, content, and workflows, ensuring employees can easily access and use learning to build capability and performance.

Success Measures

  • Smooth operation of learning workflows across service delivery, technical capability, business enabling, growth.
  • Positive feedback from users on learning platform support.
  • Up to date and accurate learning data and reports.
  • Timely resolution of learning technology issues.

Required Capabilities

Key Accountability Areas Learning Platform & Content Support
  • Support the setup, maintenance, and organisation of learning content within the digital learning platform.
  • Assist with uploading, updating, and testing learning materials and pathways.
  • Help ensure content is easy to find, accurate, and presented in line with standards.
Workflow Mapping & Process Support
  • Map learning workflows across the business workflow (e.g., service delivery, technical capability, business enabling, growth).
  • Document how learning processes work and identify gaps, inefficiencies, or duplication.
  • Support the implementation of improved learning and people workflows within systems and tools.
User & Operational Support
  • Provide first level support to employees and managers using learning systems.
  • Assist with access, troubleshooting, and navigation of learning platforms.
  • Track and escalate issues to the Learning & Technology Specialist as required.
Data, Reporting & Quality Control
  • Maintain accurate learning records, completions, and user data.
  • Support reporting on learning activity, compliance, and engagement.
  • Carry out quality checks on learning content and system set up.
Continuous Improvement & Team Support
  • Identify opportunities to improve learning processes, workflows, and user experience.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to improve the digital learning environment.
  • Support the wider Organisation & People team with learning related activities as required.

The duration of this apprenticeship will be: 18 months.
