Application Support Lead/Application Manager (Java/.NET, German C1)

Location: Germany

Overview

We are hiring an experienced Application Support Lead/Application Manager with a strong Java or .NET background and proven expertise in application support (L2/L3). This role focuses on managing and supporting critical business applications in a production environment.

Please note: Infrastructure support profiles will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead L2/L3 application support activities for enterprise systems

  • Manage incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL)

  • Ensure application stability, performance, and SLA adherence

  • Act as the primary point of contact for application-related issues

  • Collaborate with development teams (Java/.NET) for bug fixes and enhancements

  • Support production deployments and releases

  • Maintain documentation, runbooks, and support procedures

  • Drive continuous service improvements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in Java or .NET technologies

  • Proven experience as an Application Support Lead/Application Manager

  • Hands-on Application Support experience (L2/L3)

  • Solid ITIL knowledge/certification

  • Experience working in production support environments

  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills

  • Fluent German (C1 level or higher) - mandatory

  • Ability to join immediately

  • Infrastructure-only support experience will not be considered
