Application Security Technical Lead

This leading banking group is seeking to expand its application security team with a technical lead who will design and deliver tools to help developers build secure software.

Role Breakdown

• 60% software development: writing and maintaining APIs, glue code, wrappers, etc., to integrate AppSec tooling with other services in the bank
• 40% SAST, DAST, SCA, vulnerability scanning - acting as a practitioner of building secure pipelines

Qualifications

To be successful, you will have strong software development experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java or Go. You will ideally have a good understanding of the software security landscape: CVEs, CWEs, and common software vulnerability types.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary £80-90k + (depending on experience) + bonus + benefits.

The role is based in either Manchester or Glasgow with hybrid working (2 days a week in the office).
