Job Description:
• This position is created to be a team member of the WM APS team and to handle Application Support activities. Candidate will play a major role in handling Incidents, service requests and Application Support activities in shifts and on-call rotations. This member will also contribute to the service improvement activities, and participate to support bank's DR/Live play activities
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Provide Application Production support for WM IT Data platform applications and tools
• Prioritize and deliver outstanding service, troubleshooting and resolving issues from Business teams
• Capability to analyze system / middleware / application logs and identify potential issues
• Service monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement of the service quality and availability.
• Actively contributes to Continuous service improvement activities to make sure repetitive tasks and issues are addressed either via Problem management framework or automation Qualifications and
Technical skills:
• Unix and Shell Scripting
• Data Warehouse, Data Platforms, Database, Oracle, PL-SQL & SQL
• Autosys and Middleware like MQ, Tomcat • Cloud computing
• Reporting tools like PowerBI/Tableau
Language Skills:
• English - Expert
Soft Skills:
• Strong critical thinker with problem solving approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to continually update and enhance skills
• High level of persistence, can-do attitude & pro-activeness
