Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in back-end technologies, with expertise in Java application development. Experience with Agile, CI/CD, and Domain Driven Design is essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Complete assigned tasks within the application development cycle, including system installation, application updates, configuration, testing, and module programming within larger projects.
  2. Work under supervision from the Technical Lead, Project Manager, or Senior Developer, contributing to design and technical solutions.
  3. Design, develop, and test software using Java/J2EE technologies.
  4. Maintain a rigorous build and testing framework, monitor build issues, and ensure continuous integration.
  5. Prepare technical documentation aligned with functional specifications.
  6. Be part of a dynamic division fostering entrepreneurship, professionalism, teamwork, and innovation.
  7. Collaborate effectively with team members and clients in an international environment using diverse technologies and frameworks.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related fields.
  2. Multiple years of professional experience in Java/JEE full-stack development.
  3. Strong experience with Angular for front-end development.
  4. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, Spring, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Maven, Docker.
  5. Hands-on experience with Cucumber for BDD.
  6. Deep knowledge of container platforms and Docker.
  7. Experience developing cloud-native applications.
  8. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
  9. Experience in creating and leading technical designs.
  10. Understanding of event-driven architectures.
  11. At least 2 years of experience with large, business-critical applications.
  12. Proven experience working in Agile environments.
  13. Fluent in Dutch (oral and written) and English.
