Job Description

* Android Developer - 6 months + Contract - Hybrid - Sweden.*

RED now has a new contract opportunity for an Android Developer to join one of our key partners for a new mobile and energy optimisation platform project. The initial contract will be for 6 months with a scope for extension.

This contract is to start ASAP and will be hybrid, with 3 days per week on-site in Malmo.

Specific skills/experience required:

  • 5+ years of experience with Android development and Kotlin.
  • 5+ years of experience in the overall mobile development space.
  • Strong experience with modern Android architecture (MVVM/Clean Architecture/Jetpack components).
  • Experience with building production-grade Androidapplications.
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs and collaborating with Back End teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, IoT services, and Real Time data integrations.
  • Experience with the energy industry/energy markets.
  • Excellent communication skills with English and Swedish.
  • Able to join ASAP.
