Job Description
Overview

Woodland Group are seeking an Air/Ocean Export Coordinator for our team in Dublin. Experienced in Air Freight and/or Ocean Freight. The Air/Ocean Export Coordinator will report to the Operations Manager and will work with customers, clients and agents. The Air/Ocean Export Coordinator is responsible for liaising between customers, suppliers and transport companies to ensure efficient deliveries.

Responsibilities
  • Complete day to day customs clearance activities as instructed
  • Advise Manager of any areas requiring attention
  • Identify any potential problem areas before they have an adverse effect on operations
  • Develop constructive relationships with operational staff and clients where appropriate
  • Deal with all queries quickly and efficiently
  • Create and amend ERTS manifests
  • Keep operational staff fully informed of any holds, exams or other areas which may cause delay to a shipment
  • General administrative duties for other departments when requested/time permits
  • Assist with invoicing and month end to ensure that both are completed timely
  • Any other duties as required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department
  • Work with the operations department to continually improve processes and business performance
  • Support changes in the role necessary to take the department and business forward
  • Work to achieve personal objectives set at appraisal and/or those set monthly or quarterly
  • Achieving agreed individual objectives
  • Understanding and adhering to all Woodland policies and procedures relevant to the role
About you

You will be experienced in full-cycle Air Freight and/or Ocean Freight and all aspects of the import and export process; have solid working knowledge of day-to-day customs clearance activities and be able to export client, agent and partner quotes.

Qualifications

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Dublin, County Dublin

Experience:

  • customs clearance: 1 year (required)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to commute/relocate: Dublin, County Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
