We are working with a global engineering consultancy supporting major aerospace programmes worldwide. They are currently seeking experienced Aircraft Source Inspectors to support a final assembly programme, ensuring supplier parts and assemblies meet strict quality and regulatory standards.

These opportunities are available either as:

• Contract (initial duration 6 months, likely extending up to 2 years)
• Permanent employment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final source inspections at supplier facilities
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and PO requirements
• Interpret GD&T and aerospace technical documentation
• Ensure adherence to AS9100, FAA, and customer quality standards
• Raise and support NCRs, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Document inspection results and communicate findings clearly

Experience Required

• Proven background in aerospace manufacturing and inspection, ideally airframe or fuselage
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and precision measurement tools
• Knowledge of AS9100 / aerospace quality systems
• Experience in supplier quality or source inspection environments
