Job Description

We are seeking an AI Engineer for an initial 3-month contract with the likelihood of extension. This position involves designing and implementing an Agentic File Import solution for a Banking Services platform, leveraging AI to handle file import issues, resolve formatting discrepancies, and support additional file types.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an Agentic File Import solution for the Banking Services platform.
• Utilise agentic AI capabilities to intelligently handle file import issues.
• Resolve formatting discrepancies and support additional file types, including PDFs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the solution into existing systems.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role (eg, Senior Software Engineer).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven experience building agentic AI systems.
• Strong background in machine learning, LLMs, and AI orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with probabilistic algorithms and data transformation techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with React, Azure DevOps, .NET, and Python is beneficial.
• Knowledge of GitHub Co-pilot and New Relic is advantageous.
• AWS certification is preferred.

Work Environment

Utilise a tech stack including NodeJS + Express, NoSQL databases like MongoDB, and AWS services such as SQS, S3, and Lambda. Work in a flexible and forward-thinking environment that encourages innovation and professional growth
