Flutter UKI is on the hunt for a passionate individual to join our dynamic team as a Gen AI Engineer. We are the Flutter UK & Ireland Trading Team - we power performance, think different and drive the best customer experiences for the Paddy Power, Betfair and Sky Betting & Gaming brands.

What you'll do

• Work with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Trading and other cross functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects.
• Design, develop, test and launch solutions and experiments.
• Mentor and guide peers via code reviews, development sessions and pair programming.
• Provide guidance with process design and estimate effort required for project implementation.
• Map end to end business processes as part of solutions.
• Update and maintain developer standards around best practices.
• Engage with partnering teams to define the best approach to implementation.
• Seek to improve, optimise and evolve current working practices to drive efficiency and quality.

What we're looking for

• Experience in developing LLM based applications and leveraging them to tackle business problems.
• Experience across different programming languages including Python, Go, C#, JAVA.
• Familiarity with building applications using ML.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast paced environment and work cooperatively with others across the organization.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure and with deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and persuasively to non technical stakeholders.
• Curiosity and passion for technology, adaptability to new technologies and staying up to date with market developments.
• Operational experience and knowledge are an advantage.
• Fluency in English.
• Technology and/or consulting background (previous experience in consulting and technology environment).
• Technical expertise in APIs, AI, NLP and experience with GitHub.
• Understanding of various architectural frameworks and design patterns.
