AI Data Centre Architect - Remote - 12 Months - Outside IR35

We are hiring a high-impact AI Data Centre Architect to lead the design of a large-scale UK-based AI Factory programme. This is a foundational hire - you will define the end-to-end architecture for AI infrastructure across up to 80 data centres, setting the standards, blueprints, and deployment models that will underpin the entire programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Design the end-to-end AI data centre architecture across:

• GPU clusters (NVIDIA-based platforms)

• Create repeatable deployment blueprints for large-scale, multi-site rollouts

• Ensure infrastructure supports high-performance AI workloads and GPU-heavy applications

• Collaborate with vendors (eg NVIDIA, HPE) and systems integrators to align with reference architectures

• Act as the technical authority across design and early build phases

• Work closely with automation and deployment teams to ensure consistent delivery across all sites

• Support the build of a scalable AI factory/AI service provider model

Must-Have Experience

• Proven experience designing AI/GPU-based data centre environments

• Strong understanding of NVIDIA B300/B400 class platforms (or equivalent GPU clusters)

• End-to-end data centre design expertise

• Experience delivering large-scale, repeatable data centre builds

• Ability to define standards, blueprints, and scalable deployment models

• Experience working with hardware vendors, MSPs, and systems integrators
